Corporate Presenter Kit
General guidelines for producing JuggleMania.
If you can't provide all this exactly, do the best you can
and so will Rhys.
Space Needs
A 12'x12' riser situated against a wall
and with good sightlines for the entire room. No overhead
chandeliers or low beams, ideally. A 10' or greater ceiling
height is best. About
6' between the edge of the riser and the nearest tables.
Light Needs
The more light the better. "Mood" lighting will have to be
turned up to bright for the show. Rhys can provide some
extra light, if requested.
Sound Needs
Rhys will provide his own wireless Sennheiser mic. Most house
PA systems will work, but some are surprisingly "sucky."
If the
house
system
is
good,
Rhys
can patch
his mic into it. If the house system is unreliable and
you've rented a better one for your own use, Rhys can
patch into it. If you'd like, Rhys can provide a quality
sound system for the show.
Set-Up Time
Access to the performance space 45-60 minutes before the
attendees arrive, is ideal. The show can "walk on" if
it's a short
version
and you
don't
mind
a little setting up before the actual performance. Rhys
would rather arrive early than set up while people are
eating. Set up during meet and greet is alright, if client
prefers.
Performance Time
After dessert has been set. NOT while people are eating
dinner. It is best if the wait staff has been instructed
to cease service during the show (no clearing tables
and walking between show and audience).
Break Down and Load Out
Ideally, soon after the show has ended unless
more events must follow. Following events will have to work
around
show equipment. Show can be pulled to the side
in about 5 minutes, thus clearing stage, if necessary.
Full load out takes 30-45 minutes if unhindered.
Misc. Needs
A list of 5 possible "volunteers" that you'd
like "highlighted" in the act.
If providing lodging, a basic non-smoking room is all that's
needed.
If providing a meal, chicken or fish entree is
preferred.
